This silver 1 ½ inch “so-called dollar” was minted in March 18, 1902 on the 50^th Anniversary of the Wells Fargo & Company founding in 1852.  For many years, these commemorative medals could be purchased in the $200 range, but in the last two years, they have become almost unobtainable.  We offer this extremely fine beauty for much less than the last one we saw sell at an auction for $850!
