When have you seen a war-date Raphael Semmes?  We have not seen one in the past 10 years.  This gorgeous autograph of the Captain of the famed C.S.S. Alabama has to be worth a solid $2,000-2,500.  A choice autograph that needs to be framed up with a picture of the Alabama!  This album page was signed by Semmes probably as a condolence as the brother of whose autograph album it belonged to had been killed in the war.
