Nice Example of a Turned (Twice Used) Confederate Cover - Both Confederate Stamps Display Well - Addressed to Sergt. Samuel Bowden Co. B Palmetto Sharp Shooters, Gen. Jenkins Brigade - Fine Emory, Va. Cancellation
If you would like an example of a twice used – referred to as a turned cover, this is one of the best we have seen for display!   Two nice Confederate stamps one a 10 cent blue No. 11 and the other a 10 cent blue-green.  The cover has a March 23rd (1864) cancellation from Emory, Va.  Sergeant Samuel Bowden was in a very famous Confederate unit, the Palmetto Sharp Shooters.  The cover has foxing (age spotting) but has excellent display quality.
