Wonderful Piece of Revolutionary War History: A Bounty Note from the State of Massachusetts Bay, January 1, 1780
This bounty note measuring 5 x 10 inches has a wonderful look to it. Back in the 1930-40’s Wilder’s Bookshop in Somerville, Mass., sold or gave away a bunch of these. The old 1780 typeset is so cool. They were engraved by I. M. Furnass of Boston.

This bounty made out to Alisha Packard is for three hundred twenty pounds and comes with the original presentation binder. This would look great framed up. A real piece of Revolutionary War history.
