Relics from Fort Abraham Lincoln, Dakota Territory – Indian Wars, Custer, etc.
Here is a nice grouping of 8 relics from the regions of Fort Abraham Lincoln and Fort Rice. Custer was there many times and his 7th Cavalry boys wore dress helmets with eagle plates just like the two in this grouping! One eagle plate is Cavalry and one Infantry. Beside the two plates there are two crossed saber pins, two buttons, one 45-70 bullet and a M 1872 Cavalry man’s sword belt plate (great patina with bend on keeper). What a great looking set for the Indian War’s collector. If these were from the Little Big Horn the price would be $10,000!
