Offered is a 3 x 7 ½ inch receipt with definitely an “Old West” feel to it.  It is dated October 20, 1866 from Lincoln.  The recipient paid $62 for 31 tickets.  The receipt was printed by Crocker’s Print. in Sacramento and is signed by a cashier for the C. C. R. R.  The receipt has several pin holds and a large stain on the left edge; fortunately, this does not detract very much from the overall “look” of the document.  If you want a neat old stagecoach item, this is it!
