One of the rarest and most desirable of all local Confederate buttons is the one piece “Alberts NC 12 Pine Tree button.”  This specimen loaded with over 90% bright gold is truly a museum piece and will be the center piece of an excavated collection.  The button obviously shows some ground action and while the base of the shank is still there, the tip of the shank has corroded away.  A true gem that is priceless, yet we are making available to you!
