COMMEMORATING THE 150TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE CIVIL WAR WITH

THE FINEST ORIGINAL SOLDIER'S LETTERS AND ARTIFACTS
McClellan's Thanks to the Troops after the Battle of Antietam

This little broadside measuring 5 x 7 ½ inches was distributed to the troops after the battle of Antietam.  It was General Orders No. 160, “Head Quarters Army of the Potomac, Camp near Sharpsburg, Md. October 3, 1862.”  The little broadside is in fine condition with some staining.  It has fold marks and was sent home in a soldier’s letter as a souvenir.  A nice item for the Antietam collector!
