James MacThompson - 107th PA. Vols.

James MacThompson, as a Captain, led the 107th in the Battle of Antietam!  You can read his battle report in the Civil War Database.  Our document is one of granting “Power of Attorney”.  It is signed in full by MacThompson as Lieutenant Colonel as 107th PA.  The document is legal size is some staining at the top but has a nice dark autograph of MacThompson.
