Scarce CDV of Lt. Col. James M. Sanderson Who Wrote the Book “My Record in Rebellion” (About Libby Prison) – He was Commissary of Subsistence, 1st Army Corps
This CDV (the only other one we know of is in the Massachusetts Mollus collection) shows Sanderson seated. The photograph is published by Anthony from Brady’s National Portrait Gallery. It was men like Sanderson that kept the Army of the Potomac going. Fine condition.
