One of our favorite pieces is this 15 x 9 ½ inch hand-colored map, drawn by Lt. Samuel B. Palmer of the Georgia Chatham Light Artillery.  Palmer signs the front of the map, right under his large caption, “Map of East Tennessee”.  After his name is written “Knoxville, August 1863”.  A beautiful stars and bars Confederate flag is on the right side of the map and overall the map is enough to give you goose bumps!  For the collector of soldier drawn material, the collector of Confederate Tennessee or the collector of maps, this has got to be a true prize for your collection!
