Taken at the same time as the standing photo of Jacob Thompson, this rare unpublished CDV shows Thompson seated with three of his Confederate associates standing behind him and the Confederate flag in the background.  We will let the purchaser of this amazing photo determine the identity of these three.  They are probably referred to in the article, “Spies Across the Border,” that we will include with the purchase of this photo.  The CDV is by “W. Chase 159 Hollis Street, Halifax.”  This is the same photographer as the single standing view of Thompson; however, the imprint on the reverse has a different design.  If you can help I.D. any of the three standing Confederates, be sure to email us!  Condition is pristine.
