If you collect colorful covers, here is one for you!  This homemade cover is light green in color and where many wallpaper covers have the colorful portion on the inside (as that side was often shiny and hard to write on), this cover has the shiny wallpaper on the outside!  The cover has a “Charleston, S.C. August 31” cancelation and a large “10”.  The return address is “22nd S.C. Regt., Co. G.”  It is addressed to “Wyatt Smith, Buchanan, Anderson Dist., S.C.”  Condition is very good with some stains.  Excellent for display!
