An important early Charleston broadside 7 ½ x 11 ¾ announcing the formation of the Jacob Milligan & Co. business.  The broadside states, “They will go to any part of the country to sell houses, lands, Negroes, furniture, or anything else.”  Charlestown, March 23, 1783.  Throughout the broadside old English spelling is used and the broadside has great appearance!  The paper with its high-rag content is so much better quality than what was used 100 years later, that the broadside is in outstanding condition!  A wonderful piece to frame and put on the wall.
