In August of 1907, Veterans under General George A. Custer had a reunion in Canandaigua, New York.  This attractive medal with cross sabers at the top and a portrait of General Custer on the body was featured on the new book, Medals for the General.  A beautiful example of this desirable medal for the Custer collector.
