This lot consists of two letters.  The first, a letter by a young female volunteer to teach the Bible to soldiers and the second, by a missionary in the Christian Commission to one of the Christian Commission leaders, a Mr. Hall in Washington, D.C.  The two letters are written in ink and the cover that they were sent in is included.  A very interesting set showing the desires of this organization to reach soldiers with the Gospel.
