A pair of two very interesting items!  The first is a Catechism written for the children of the Confederacy so that they would grow up with a proper understanding of the South’s history.  It is filled with fascinating content!  It was put out by the United Daughters of the Confederacy in 1904.  Be sure to read the excerpts we are providing below.  The second piece is a beautiful sterling pin with red, white and blue enameling, the CS flag 1861-1865 and “Children of the Confederacy.”  This is the only such set of these two items we have seen!
