This 8 x 10 Albumen photograph in the Civil War collecting field is considered by many as “The Mother of All Photos!”  If you have ever seen this view, you saw it in a book.  In the past 30+ years, this is the only example we have seen available to purchase!  The condition is excellent with minor browning on the far rim of the mount resulting from being in an old frame for 100 years.  California Joe with his double triggered Sharps rifle was featured in Harpers Weekly.  Berdan with his “SS” on his hat, holding binoculars strikes quite the pose!  A truly magnificent photograph!
