A collection of four schoolbooks published in the Confederacy.  Two are published in North Carolina (Greensborough, 1862 and Raleigh, 1864), one in Alabama (Mobile, 1865) and one in Richmond 1864.  The Mobile Chaudron’s Spelling Book is printed on wallpaper!  We have folded the corner so that you can see the beautiful colors.  The condition of each is “well used,” but all are complete and fairly tight.
