COMMEMORATING THE 150TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE CIVIL WAR WITH

THE FINEST ORIGINAL SOLDIER'S LETTERS AND ARTIFACTS
Rare Confederate Blockade Runner Bonds

Over the years we were fortunate to collect some of the very rare Confederate Blockade Runner Bonds issued by private companies in the Confederacy that owned ships capable of running the Union blockade.  These steamships would take cotton from the south to England and bring back military equipment and weapons for sale to the Confederate Government.  Being in business to make a profit, half their load consisted of fine European goods that were sold to the southern civilian population.  Most of the blockade runners operated out of Charleston, South Carolina.  We also have one bond that sailed out of Savannah.
