CDV Col. John L. Chatfield 6th Conn. Inf. - Died of Wounds at Famous Battery Wagner

This bust shot of Chatfield is similar to the one shown on the Civil War Database, where they show a waist-up shot.  Chatfield was wounded October of 1862 at Pocotaligo, South Carolina and was wounded again at Fort Wagner on 7/18/1863 and dying from his wounds shortly thereafter.  The image has some staining but sharp corners and the photographer is G. N. Granniss from Waterbury, Connecticut.
