Inexpensive Example of the Famous Charleston, S.C. “Blockade Runner” Bond – Charleston Importing & Exporting Company
This 4 ½ x 9 ½ inch bond printed on blue paper has a vignette of the companies blockade runner in the center. It is dated June 26th, 1863 and is signed by the President of the company, Henry Cobia, who was one of the most famous owners of blockade runners.

Condition overall is very good, but as it was weak at the folds, they have been mended and that is why you can save $1,000. The piece has a fine appearance and the ink is nice and dark.
