The only Confederate Blockade Runner bond that has printed on it, “Of the Confederate States” is The Atlantic Steam Packet Company. This bond dated July 29, 1864, entitles George W. Williams to 3 shares. Williams was the builder of the outstanding Calhoun Mansion located on 16 Meeting Street in Charleston, South Carolina. It was the largest privately owned home in Charleston and featured in many films. In the bottom left hand corner of this bond is a beautiful imprinted seal. The document is in fine condition with only minor staining and is the rarest of the non-individual ship certificates. Worth $4,250!
