A nice seated view CDV of Henry P. Fitzpatrick, a Sergeant in Company G. of the 97^th New York Infantry.  Henry was wounded on the first day of the fierce fighting at Gettysburg on 7/1/1863.  Unfortunately for Henry, he re-enlisted on 2/10/1864 and was killed 10 months later at Weldon Railroad, Virginia.  The CDV is in very fine condition, showing Henry with his Sergeant strips and wearing an I.D. pin.  The photographer is J. S. Hovey, Rome, New York.  I.D. is in pencil on the reverse.
