STOLEN 8/13/17   -  CDV of 6th Pa. Rush's Lancers Colonel Charles Ross Smith

This view shows Smith in early war uniform holding his sword.  The CDV is unmounted.  This piece originally came from the Smith family auction of memorabilia that was held in Pennsylvania probably 20+ years ago.  Many of the documents and photos in that collection had some staining… as does this piece, but it is very minor. 

View the attached scans from the internet that we are picturing and you will see this view in the bottom right-hand corner. 

Probably your only opportunity to find a photograph of Ross in uniform as the other views we have seen have been in civilian dress.
