This rare 69^th New York Reunion Badge has got to be one of the rarest Reunion Badges there is!  This is only the second badge we have seen in the last 35+ years and it is the only one inscribed with the soldiers name.   The soldier James Devine of Company H was in several 69^th Militia units (not the 3 year regiment), but he was still IRISH!  This high quality badge is in fine condition with only minimal discoloration.  The ribbon while maintaining a vibrant green is frayed and has been repaired in several places.   Fortunately, in a display you wouldn’t see the back of the ribbon so this item would be the center piece of an important Irish display.
