COMMEMORATING THE 150TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE CIVIL WAR WITH

THE FINEST ORIGINAL SOLDIER'S LETTERS AND ARTIFACTS
3 Important McClellan Addressing the Army of the Potomac Printed "Handouts"

These three small broadsides, not really “General Orders” as they were not assigned any number, are all printed in the field… field printing presses.  These three are from an old collection and came from one officer who kept them.  The first is dated March 14th, 1862 and General McClellan states that God is on their side.  He says, “I have kept you inactive, but not without a purpose” (the story of his life).  Anyway, read this March 14th speech… it is great!  The next is dated June 2nd and the Peninsula Campaign is half over and he states, “The final and decisive battle is at hand”… more great content!  The final speech is July 4th, 1862 written on our Nations birthday congratulating the troops.  These three all in fine condition make a wonderful set!
