THE FINEST ORIGINAL SOLDIER'S LETTERS AND ARTIFACTS
Amazing 1911 Confederate Philatelic Society Program

On January 28, 1911, the Confederate Philatelic Society held a dinner at the Boston Oyster House.  Guess what the dinner’s program was printed on?  The banquet committee opened up old southern covers and printed the menu on the blank side!  Each invitation would be different and very distinctive!  The invitation we offer, and the only one we have ever seen, is printed on a “Fredericksburg, Va. October 19, 1860” postmarked red 3 cent imprint cover.  The cover is addressed to a “Col. Edward Taylor”.  The condition of this little gem is excellent!
