CDV Lt. Edwin A. Tuthill, Co. A 104th New York Infantry – Captured at Gettysburg
This CDV in fine condition shows Tuthill seated wearing his military coat under which is visible a herringbone vest and matching pants! The 104th suffered greatly with many casualties at Gettysburg. Following his capture Tuthill was confined at Libby Prison, Macon, Georgia and Columbia, South Carolina. He was paroled in November of 1864 and was able to finish the war.
