A nice CDV of Brig. Gen. Kilpatrick taken after the Gettysburg Campaign in July of 1863.  Photographer is by Fredericks.  An ink inscription of the period on the reverse states: “Genl. Kilpatrick taken just after the MD. Campaign when nearly sick.”  Condition overall is very good, with a few stains.  Reverse shows an area where tape has taken off a portion of the photographers imprint.   A nice cavalry CDV!
